Proposed changes to the school day
Further to the Headteacher’s letter of 17th January, a meeting will be held on Monday, February 10th at 6.00 pm to discuss the proposal to shorten the length of the school day by ten minutes, finishing at 2.50 pm, from September 2020.

St Monica’s art work in Prestwich Art Festival
St.Monica’s student art work has been selected for exhibition in the Prestwich Arts festival Community Art Trial – ‘Home is Where the Art is’. Work is on display across the trail from 22 – 29th September.
Our work can be found in Prestiwch Library (Longfield Centre), on the door of Footprint Travel (Bury New Road – near the Village) & inside Rose & Lee Vintage (Bury New Road – near the village).

Poetry Competition
The English department are running a poetry competition this half term for years 7-9. First prize of the school competition will be a £20 Amazon gift card. All entries will be sent into a national competition and students could even get their work published.
