Pupils receive three hour long lessons in each week. For two of these lessons, homework will be set. Work is set by a student's individual teacher, and will offer a variety of tasks. These include: written assignments, planning work and research. Work may also be set to be completed in a student's exercise book, or by other methods, such as through the VLE which is mentioned in more detail under the icon on the English Department homepage of 'Login to the VLE'.
