Assessment
Pupils are assessed throughout Key Stage 3 with a series of modular tests in both French and Spanish, in order to monitor their progress.
GCSE assessment is then carried out during Key Stage 4 with AQA board examinations. The students will be doing two speaking test worth 30% and two pieces of coursework worth 30%. The Listening test is worth 20% and the reading test is worth 20%.
2 fast track classes are also created in year 7, where students will be doing their French GCSE Examination in year 9 and their Spanish GCSE Examination in year 11
