Staffing
St Monica's Foreign Languages department is a dedicated, enthusiastic team of 9 members of staff offering French and Spanish at Key Stages 3 and 4. Some students also have the opportunity to learn Italian. Some taster lessons are also available in Chinese and Japanese.
All our members of staff are highly qualified professionals and linguists, teaching at least 2 languages.
In addition, the department also includes 2 Foreign Language Assistants, who are all native speakers, designated to each of the languages offered.
